Eamonn McDonagh
Originally from Ireland, he first came to Argentina in 1999 and has a degree in History and Political Science from the National University of Ireland and a Master's degree in ELT from the University of Reading in the UK. He has been responsible for general English language courses, writing courses for PhD and MSc. students and writing clinics in many places and institutions including universities in Korea, the Netherlands and Argentina.
Eamonn has extensive experience in translating from Spanish to English, particularly in the humanities and social sciences.
Virginia Hormaeche
Virginia is from the city of Santa Fe, Argentina and is a certified public translator. She has extensive translation experience in a variety of areas ranging from legal documentation to business correspondence to academic journal articles.
Between 2002 and 2006 she worked as an in-house Language Consultant at the International Centre for Computational Methods in Engineering, at the Universidad Nacional del Litoral in Santa Fe, Argentina. Her responsibilities included the translation, revision and preparation for publication of engineering and science papers in the area of computational methods applied to science and engineering. She also advised postgraduates and faculty on matters related to language and translation.
